Description
This document is a draft of a possible statement that Congressman Joe Moakley's office wrote to be read on his behalf at a Central American Solidarity Association (CASA) rally. The statement expresses Moakley's opposition to President Ronald Reagan's certification of social, political, and economic improvements in El Salvador and Moakley's assertion that the U.S. government should stop sending military aid to El Salvador. Included with the draft statement is a page of typed notes on conditions in El Salvador.
